comspace relaunches Rittal.de

Just in time for the company’s 50th anniversary Rittal presents their new online presence, matching the new Corporate Design. comspace implemented the launch on the basis of the FirstSpirit CMS and the Multichannel Commerce Platform Hybris.

More than 7000 salable standard products are henceforth visible in the online product catalogue on rittal.de. They are transferred and permanently synchronized from the neutrally usable product catalogue PIM to the multichannel-commerce platform Hybris via a complex interface.

The whole content management takes place via the FirstSpirit Content Management System of the e-Spirit AG from Dortmund. To make the editors’ work noticeably easier and to minimize the risk of errors, comspace created an interface that connects the CMS to the Hybris platform.  Via the editing interface one can therefore search comfortably for products and can import corresponding product data to the editorial content. By means of different FirstSpirit components, such as the integration-, personalization- and form-edit- module, a fair-, press- and contact- database as well as a FAQ directory were integrated in the website.

Furthermore, comspace created a download area that accesses the Media Asset Management System (MAM), so that modification and changes there will be published immediately on the homepage.
